PURPOSE The purpose of GLC HOPE Ministries is to assist those in our community and beyond who are currently unable to provide themselves with the shelter, food, clothing and/or essential household items required to fill a need and/or supply comfort; doing this while sharing the love and compassion of Jesus Christ. We are a place where the abandoned and neglected can be restored from a life of hopelessness to one of HOPE. Our purpose is not only to help these people find a temporary place to stay or needed items but to help them develop independent life skills through Christ centered programs. Understanding that the only way there can be true-life change is through a heart change.
Sometimes we go through areas in our lives that just seem hopeless and thinking there is no way out. GLC HOPE Ministries tries to help make those burdens a little lighter. We here at GLC HOPE Ministries not only want to meet the current needs but we want to help restore dignity and an new HOPE where there sometimes appears to be none.
GLC HOPE Ministries is a non-profit organization that started assisting those in need in 2002, becoming incorporated in January, 2003. |

It’s a wonderful thing that we here in the United States reach out and help the many less fortunate countries with their needs but we also must not forget about the needs in our own communities.
Just search the other areas of our website to learn more about us. And then find out how you too may be able to share in helping those in need.
“I never look at the masses as my responsibility; I look at the individual. I can only love one person at a time - just one, one, one. So you begin. I began - I picked up one person. Maybe if I didn't pick up that one person, I wouldn't have picked up forty-two thousand. The whole work is only a drop in the ocean. But if I didn't put the drop in, the ocean would be one drop less. The same thing goes for you, the same thing in your family, the same thing in your church, your community. Just begin - one, one, one.” Mother Teresa
