How we Work

MEMBER:

GLC HOPE Ministries (God's LOVE Closet & Hope Rescue Mission) will serve those in need from  Montcalm County 

GLC HOPE Ministries is open to everyone within our service area that truly has a need.

No person will be turned away without being helped. 

If we can not help them we will connect them with someone who can

 

HOUSEHOLD ITEM NEEDS - God's LOVE Closet

One of our Client Service Representatives will meet with client and assist them 

 in filling out eligibility paperwork.

Each person will be asked to provide  proper identification, proof of income,  and proof of residency 

                                                       > Picture ID

                                                       >Proof of residency

                                                        (ie. Utility bill or lease)

                                                       >Proof of income

                                                        (ie. Check stub or bank statement)

                                                       >Proof of members in household

                                                        (ie. Social Security card)

 

FOOD PANTRY. - God's LOVE Closet

Client Service Representative will assist clients in filling required paperwork. 

For food, we only require basic information that would help confirm  person

requesting food lives within service boundaries .

SHELTER - HOPE Rescue Mission

Person requesting shelter will be met by a representative from GLC to ensure there is a bed available .

The very next day, guest, will meet with GLC's Case Manager to determine best plan of action
