            Financial Contributions               

Since GLC HOPE Ministries chooses not to charge those who cannot afford even the smallest amount for the essentials of living, we must petition for our operating expenses from generous compassionate contributors. 

The vision for adding an on-site homeless shelter and community kitchen will required committed support from others who have a passion to help the needy in our community. God has been providing many, many volunteers to fill  the required positions for our expansion but finances are desperately needed. We need many people committed to supporting this vision. Monthly commitments such as $10, $15, $20, $25, $50 per month would help us greatly . 

While we currently are an all volunteer organization, we do understand that eventually there will be some key areas where we will have to pay employees. When that time comes we will utilize our core volunteer staff as much as possible to keep costs as low.

Donate Your Surplus or Unwanted Items

GLC HOPE Ministries is always in need of your surplus or unwanted items to keep our shelves filled. 

We all have good things in our home that are never used but tucked away for who knows when. After all if these things are just sitting there taking up room , why not donate them for someone that truly has a need. ?

We all know someone who may be moving and does not want to move all their items.

What about left over estate or garage sale items?

Do you know anyone that might purchase new furniture and want to donate their old?

Your contributions will be put to use equipping a family to be a family and helping individuals as they journey through troubled times.   Needed Items

Sometimes God sets it on our heart when we buy something for ourselves, it actually was not for us at all, but it was to be given away. This is where new donated items come from . 

When you have a little extra $ and see something on sale that may be on our needs list . This too is where new donated items come from .

Volunteer Your Time

At GLC HOPE Ministries there are many areas to serve as a volunteer. 

Working in the item processing & distribution area , volunteers are needed for sorting, wrapping, cleaning or just plain organizing of donated items, and packing food boxes.  

Compassionate volunteers  are also needed to work one-on-one with clients, helping them through this sometimes difficult  process of getting back on their feet. 

  Volunteer individually or as a group.
