Delivery Polices

MEMBER:

GLC HOPE Ministries will deliver furniture, appliances and /or  household items to those in need within the service area.

1. Persons eligible to receive furniture, appliances/household items   

* Any Person approved through Client Service Representative

* Referral from a social service provider

    * Referral from a local church

    * Referral from other charitable agency

2. Orders for items are filled according to date received

   * Delivery time will be scheduled with the recipient in advance. 

   Recipient must have responsible person at home to receive and sign for items. 

    * No one home results in no item dropped off and we cannot return

3. We can only give what is given to us.

We cannot guarantee the filling of any order for furniture and/or household items. If items are not available at time of request, recipient can call or stop in at a later date and see if any of the items have been donated.. We cannot guarantee the condition of appliance, although we do not knowingly accept broken appliances. 

4. Deliveries

    * Our delivery commitment ends at the front door of building. 

    * It is the responsibility of the recipient to arrange to have it moved inside. We anticipate the recipient to help in 

          the  unloading of items. (only exception if agencies indicate the recipient to be elderly or handicapped.)

    * Acceptance of furniture once it is off truck implies that ownership of furniture now resides with the recipient.

        GLC HOPE Ministries does not pick up furniture and/or items once accepted.

   * In winter months it is mandatory that snow and ice be removed from sidewalks, porch and steps. Conditions must 

         be safe for drivers
